I’m Jasen Y. Tham, a 16-year-old author, entrepreneur, investor, and combat athlete. Writing has always been my way of understanding people, their psychology, motives, and the quiet thoughts that shape who they become. My book, The Psychology of Predators, was born from that curiosity and my fascination with how power and emotion intertwine. Outside of writing, I’m deeply passionate about entrepreneurship and investing, where I focus on long-term growth, creative strategy, and building things that last. I also train as a combat athlete, a discipline that’s taught me resilience, patience, and the value of controlled precision.
My research began as a personal journey to understand the hidden personas that drive human behaviour, particularly those that operate in the shadows of morality and empathy. What started as curiosity soon grew into a study of the psychological traits, emotional patterns, and social dynamics that shape predatory minds. Through observation, research, and countless reflections on real-world encounters, I began uncovering how these personas form, adapt, and influence others. This exploration ultimately led me to write The Psychology of Predators, a book that delves into these complex identities, not to sensationalize them, but to bring clarity, awareness, and insight to a rarely discussed side of human nature.
